The Carlson Community Club exists to support our community. We give to many local organizations and individuals in need – Dry Grad, Christmas Cheer Fund, the PR Food Bank, Therapeutic Riding, many youth sports teams & Olympians, Salvation Army, Bruce Denniston Bone Marrow Society, PR Sea Cadets, PR Sea Fair Society, and Kathaumiux… just to name a few.

Many volunteers are needed to ensure the Club runs and continues to support our community. It is a place to showcase your talents whether they be in the kitchen, or by organizing and helping with the many events, maybe assisting with our charity bingo or poker nights, or by bringing your vision and ideas to life through a Director position on the Board. It’s a place where you can give back to Powell River and feel appreciated for your efforts.

As a non-profit society all the proceeds are 100% given back to the community. Funds are raised through membership dues, our members’ lounge food and drink sales, various social and fundraising events through the year as well as our charity gaming and lottery licenses. When you become a member and patron the Club and it’s various activities and events, you are supporting many of Powell River’s charitable, service, and sports organizations.
